- I investigate employee complaints of
harassment or discrimination in the workplace as a service to
employers.
- I counsel employers and employees concerning
their respective rights and obligations in the work place.
- I train employer management and employees to
comply with legal duties to report, prevent, and resolve
harassment.
- I mediate employment disputes as a neutral
both before and after the commencement of litigation.
- I inventory and address lax employer practices
that may result in employee suits.
- I recommend a menu of cost-effective
corrective actions that will minimize the risk of litigation.
- I review current and proposed agreements
between employer and employee, including severance agreements.
- I revise handbooks to assure they are current
with employment law developments and expanded duties.
- I provide legal articles of interest to both
the employer and employee community, and the groups that service
them.
- I write and publish books uniquely focused on
the practical legal needs of employees and employers.
- I litigate employment law cases for the
employee (exclusively) before all state and federal courts in
California.
- I negotiate good cases aggressively to reach
early, cost effective settlements.
- I draft employment agreements.
- I provide an email newsletter to current and
prospective clients.
